Speaking/Teaching

I’m often asked to speak at various events.

A few weeks ago I led a seminar for employees of a charity that gives money to children so that they can purchase decent musical instruments. All the staff I was working with were, like the rest of humanity, at least potentially creative, but prone to getting a bit tangled up in the necessary bureaucracy found in all respectable organisations. Then there was the worksop for Masters students preparing for careers in arts administration, and the staff development session at a school helping teachers promote the creativity of their pupils whilst still managing to cover prescribed examination subjects. And in a few week’s time I’ll be starting to work with senior school pupils, not on creativity this time, but on how they can be academically successful at university.

I like speaking, but actually, I like, even more to work with organisations that understand that they are unlikely to thrive into the future unless they are creative today. And I really like to work with young people about to go to university for more than just a passport to a decently paid job, but who realise they’re about to have their biggest chance at changing their lives,

If releasing creativity or the habits of academically successful university students interest you, contact me for a chat; I might be able to help.
